Die Challenge Layer it up! rief dazu auf, dass man mindestens 5 verschiedene Layer auf der Seite unterbringt. Das war für mich nicht das Einfachste, ich mag es doch eher einfach.
Aber ich bin trotzdem sehr zufrieden mit dem Layout.
Ich habe einiges von Shimelles aktueller Kollektion verbraucht, da es farblich perfekt zu J's Kleidung passte.
Today I am showing you a LO I prepared for the Studio Calico MB Challenge I hosted last weekend.
The "Layer it Up" challenge asked to use a minimum of 5 layers, and trust me ... I was challenged :)
But I am pretty happy with how the layout turned out.
I used a lot of paper scraps from Shimelles current collection, because it happened to match J's clothing.
Außerdem habe ich mir von Shimelle mal das "inken" der Ränder abgeschaut und war sehr begeistert von dem Effekt.
I also learned the inking of the edges trick from her process videos and I am very happy with the impact it makes for the page.
Neben Pattern Paper habe ich noch Label, Journaling Cards, Vellum, Wood Veneers und Die Cuts zum Layern verwendet. Mir kann wirklich keiner nachsagen, ich hätte es nicht versucht.
Other than Pattern Paper I used lables, journaling cards, vellum, wood veneers and die cuts to layer. Nobody can say I didn't try :D
Zum Abschluss noch ein wenig Farbe und diese gelben Resin Sterne aus irgendeinem der letzten Kits und voilà ... ein neues Layout.
As a finishing touch I added Mist and yellow Resin stars from one of the previous SC Kits and voilà ... a new layout.
